1st Floor Addition

A dated red brick suburban home is transformed through a first-floor addition and considered cosmetic update. The new level adopts a minimalist expression, with charcoal vertical cladding emphasising the strong raking roof line. A restrained monochrome palette is softened by cascading planting, giving the home a calm, contemporary presence. The addition includes a private master suite opening to a balcony with water views. Internally, a dramatic atrium introduces light and visual connection, linking living spaces across three levels and supporting flexible, multi-generational family living.

Andy completely transformed our old suburban home, turning it into what feels like a brand-new house with a first-floor addition, a striking new atrium, and modern finishes inside and out. He was patient, approachable, and highly professional, guiding us through every decision and council approval with clarity and care. His attention to detail and collaborative approach made the process smooth and enjoyable, and the final result is a spacious, contemporary home that exceeds all our expectations.
